When it comes to motion isolation, Mattress Guide gave a positive review, saying "Motion transfer with the Bear Mattress is quite minimal – almost none at all. Which makes it an excellent option for couples if one of them if easily disturbed by shuffling or movement from the other one."
Tuck.com, who created their review after analyzing over 3,000 reviews from 22 sources, concluded similarly. They gave Bear Mattresses a rating of Very Good (with only Excellent being higher) for motion isolation, saying "According to owners, the Bear Mattress absorbs and isolates motion to a significant extent, and many report a reduced number of nighttime sleep disruptions."
The Sleep Judge agreed, and even performed a weight drop test. They said, "Where the Bear lacks in edge support it makes up for in motion isolation... I used a 20-pound medicine ball and held it at eye-level. When I dropped it onto the bed, it only bounced very slightly before coming to rest. I then placed the ball on one side of the bed and dropped an identical ball on the other side. There was very minimal disruption of the resting ball. You could also see clearly that the bed quickly bounced back when the ball was dropped."
Yes. Bear Mattress has memory foam included in their mattress design which has the dual purpose of comforting and isolating motion.
Isolating motion is quite important for Beat Mattress because they are dedicated for runners- offering a restorative night's sleep that will ultimately benefit training and strength.
So, it is quite important for them to address the issue of a restless sleeper.
